dc.description.abstract In this article, a low-profile microstrip patch antenna using an FR-4 substrate with relative permittivity of 4.4 and thickness of 1.6 mm is designed. On the top of a substrate, it consists of one metallic hexagonal patch and a metallic-fed hexagonal ring tone, and the ground part of the structure is covered with orthogonal rectangular slots. The designed structure operates in the ISM band of 434 MHz, and the overall size of the antenna is 124 × 124 × 1.6 mm3. The antenna provides a valid SAR input profile. en_US
